“GC CCS Student Orientation and Recognition ”

I.           Details of the Event/Activity

The event I attended was the GC CCS Student Orientation and Recognition. It was held last August 19, 2022, at 1 pm at Gordon College Function Hall 3rd Floor. The goal of the said event was to orient the CCS Students about the rules and regulations of the school. The event also recognizes the Dean's Listers of BSIT Students awards given under the CCS Dean Mrs. Erlinda S. Casela - Abarintos and Assistant Dean Mr. Ronnie D. Luy.  

 II.       Reflections on the Webinar/Activity give rise to (learnings)

Although I have already attended the GC CCS Student Orientation since I was in my 1st year. Sometimes I forget the rules and regulations and policies of the school, so this orientation helps me to remember those policies. I was also refreshed about the vision, mission, and goals of Gordon College and the College of Computer Studies. During the orientation, the CCS Faculty also discussed the plan for implementing the face-to-face classes.

III.         Reflections on possibilities of implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level (practical application of learnings)

This GC CCS Student Orientation Seminar helps me to better understand the rules and regulations and policies of Gordon College and College of Computer Studies. Those topics that were discussed during the seminar will help me and other students to be a role model of Gordon College.

IV.          Positive feedback (on the event organization)

It is a successful event for the GC CCS because having this kind of event will help us students to know the Gordon College Staffs and CCS Faculty Professors. This event also recognizes the hardworking students who are striving to reach their goals and dreams which also motivates others to work hard to gain awards and achievements.

V.       Suggestions for Improvements to be made/consider for future activities.

This event was successful. Every student gained information and knowledge about the school policies, they also met the entire faculty of GC CCS and I do not have any suggestions for improvements because I enjoy the orientation with my friends and It was a pleasure that CCS Faculty is always reminding us about the rules and regulations and policies.
