Responsive Layout Using Flexbox #2 - As Organizer
Responsive Layout Using Flexbox
Reflection Paper 2 - As Organizer
I. Details of the event/activity
We, fourth-year IT students, are currently planning to be web developers after graduation, therefore "Responsive Layout Using Flexbox" is an important topic to cover. Mr.Lawrenz Diestro served as the resource speaker on December 1, 2022, and the event was arranged by pixelPlay.
II. Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)
As the number of devices with varied screen sizes grows, responsive design will become increasingly important in order to deliver an optimal user experience. Responsive layouts are intended to adapt to the user's needs. whether it be a PC, tablet, or mobile phone. This guarantees that the user has a consistent experience regardless of the device. The webinar was quite instructive, teaching web developers and designers the fundamentals of HTML and CSS. It taught me a lot, and I'm sure it taught others as well. The lecturer was extremely knowledgeable and made the information simple to grasp. I would suggest it to anyone interested in learning more about web development.

III. Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the webinar input
on a practical level (practical application of learnings)
The webinar was incredibly interesting and taught us many skills that will help us finish our project. The tips and tactics offered will also be extremely useful. Overall, we learnt a lot from the webinar and are glad for the opportunity to participate.
Our knowledge from this may also be used outside of school to establish an online portfolio. This portfolio may be used to demonstrate potential employers or clients our work. We can present our work to a larger audience and maybe gain greater exposure by maintaining an online portfolio.
IV. Positive feedback (on the event organization)
To keep the audience interested and focused, I used background music, a quick break in the middle of the marathon coding session, and other time management strategies.
V. Suggestions for improvements to be made/consider for future activities
Even though it was merely a webinar, it would be more interesting if participants could provide outcomes. It would be more advantageous if participants were given the opportunity to express their views and comments on the topic of the webinar. This allows them to be more active participants and involved in the debate.
